With Amelia Island 2016 having come and gone, we learned that the market is further refining itself . In brief, mid-level examples of popular marques are continuing to level off and in some case dropping in price, but the extremely high end and well finished versions of those same cars are still garnishing high hammer prices. Top end Ferrari’s continued to bring in heaping fistfuls of cash while American cars produced a surprisingly good showing over the weekend.
Below we have listed the weekend highlights and as usual, provided links to the 300SL lots that crossed the block. New to our recap is a listing with links of the top 10 weekend sales!
