If you’ve ever wanted an instant Ferrari collection, head over to RM Sotheby’s August 18th-19th auctions in Monterey this year.
Thirteen might be a lucky number this year – as in the number of Ferrari’s on offer within the “Performance Collection”. This collection up for auction features a grouping of low-mileage and well-maintained vehicles including a 1961 250 GT SWB Berlinetta, a 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 Berlinetta and a 1991 Ferrari F40.
Of course, the chances of this grouping staying together as a ‘collection’ is pretty unlikely (as in slim to none) but opportunities await for those looking to fill some voids in their existing Italian stables.
