Originally delivered to Mercedes-Benz in South Bend, Indiana, first owner of record is Lawrence Wilkinson. Wilkinson sold the car to Wayne Drapeau of Huntington Bay, New York. Drapeau sold the car to Sandy Chandra in 2004. Mr. Chandra commissioned Scott Grundfor Company to restore the car and the car was driven less than 500 miles after. Scott Grundfor Company purchased the car in October of 2015 from Mr. Chandra.
