HAGI® Classic Car Indices declined during April, with the HAGI TOP benchmark for rare classic cars falling 3.16 points (-1.29%) compared to March. Performance stands at 2.71% year-to-date, which is significantly lower than last year’s double digit gain to the end of April.
The only index to advance month-on-month was the HAGI MBCI (classic Mercedes-Benz), which gained 2.95 points (2.01%) to 149.55, up 5.49% this year and reaching a new all time high.
The HAGI P Index (classic Porsche) corrected by 4.7% in April but is still up 6.3% YTD. The HAGI F Index lost a further 0.87% and is now in negative territory for the year (-0.56%). Other marques lost 0.35% for the month but showed a gain of 4.45% YTD.
