This Mercedes was one of the few to arrive through California it was owned almost 20 years by Ottmar Thomas of Visalia and then moved on to a well known racing driver Mercedes-Benz restorer Lothar Motsenbacher. The car which was originally Ivory received the famous Mercedes-Benz Silver “DB180” a finish that it still has to this day. Bumper and chrome grille have been exceptionally re-plated but all of the remaining chrome is all original. The interior is as worn-in with the original Rose leather on the seats but no cracks or splits.
