Gooding & Company Auction
Bidding started at the low estimate of $2M for this Alloy Gullwing and seemed to stall. Than, the bidders jumped in and it climbed in $100k increments to an incredible hammer price of $4.2 million. With commission that puts the price at $4.62 million.
To put this in perspective, the last Alloy Gullwing that sold at auction was at the 2006 Artcurial-Brest-Poulain for $941k. The last private sale, in the fall of 2011, reportedly went for $2.2 million.
