Another Scottsdale extravaganza week is upon us…and the biggest volume of classic collectible cars of any single weekend of the year will again cross the block, further defining market values (for a few months anyway). From American classics to vintage Euro and modern supercar excesses of horsepower, Scottsdale in 2020 will have more than a little something for everyone.
Given the uncertainty that the DOW 800 point market drop so lovingly provided us all with just a day prior to the Monterey auction weekend this past August, hopefully market buffs will be given a better public picture in Scottsdale regarding who is wishing to buy what and at what values. We will be keeping a keen eye on what constitutes a “dealer buy” vs. a “retail buy” to further illuminate how the collector car market is fairing vs. the current, and rather robust form of the general markets.
As usual, we have compiled a quick hitting link system below to connect you to both the full catalogue listings for the major auctioneers as well as our featured lot picks per auction. And finally, our links to the 300SL’s that will cross the block round out our pre-auction week coverage.
