The last 300SL Gullwing built, 1957 W198 coupe chassis 7500079, headed from our shop after final preparation to RM Sotheby’s upcoming Las Vegas auction to be held on November 22nd. Happy to have had another special history 300SL come through the shop.

The very first 230SL engine. Installed in the earliest known Pagoda in existence, a pre W113 series example with an accounting code for a chassis number and a special Mercedes-Benz that we will soon be embarking on restoring. We rarely step outside of 300SL`s for full on restoration work, but this one got our attention and will receive the very best of our restorative acumen.
