The ultimate spec…this walk around video features a downright stunning 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300SL ‘Gullwing’ Coupe born with Rudge knock-off wheels, a sport cam ‘NSL’ engine and sport equipment (sport suspension) for the ultimate racing specification W198 offered by Mercedes-Benz. Car also features fully matching numbers components and an utterly exquisite factory-installed 1079 red leather interior.

The very first 230SL engine. Installed in the earliest known Pagoda in existence, a pre W113 series example with an accounting code for a chassis number and a special Mercedes-Benz that we will soon be embarking on restoring. We rarely step outside of 300SL`s for full on restoration work, but this one got our attention and will receive the very best of our restorative acumen.
