Colin Blaydon is the William and Josephine Buchanan Professor of Management and Director of the Center for Private Equity and Entrepreneurship at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth as well as Dean Emeritus.
Don Thompson is the author of the recently published book “The Supermodel and the Brillo Box: Back Stories and Peculiar Economics from the World of Contemporary Art” and its predecessor “The $12 Million Stuffed Shark: The Curious Economics of Contemporary Art”. Don Thompson is an economist and Emeritus Nabisco Brands Professor of Marketing and Strategy at the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto.
Michael Bock is the Head of Mercedes-Benz Classic and CEO of the fascinating Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart. Mercedes-Benz Classic has an archive about Mercedes cars from the invention of the car in 1886 till today, restores cars and manages the worldwide supply and reproduction of original spare parts for vintage Mercedes cars. Mercedes-Benz Classic is the official sponsor of the conference.
Andrew Zalasin is the Founder and Managing Partner of P1 Global with a track-record as both an independent automobile collector/insider and professional private equity/venture fund manager. Andrew has had more than 25 years of experience collecting a diversified portfolio of more than 35 significant classics.
Peter Starr and Bob Tkacik are the Founding Partners of Maine Line Exotics of Biddeford, ME. Peter and Bob have owned Toyota dealerships in New England from 1969 and are world experts on the Toyota 2000 GT, which they have been collecting and restoring since 1976. They were contributing editors for the book “Toyota 2000 GT, The Complete History of Japan’s First Supercar” by Shin Yoshikawa, published in 2002.
Matthew Lotterhand represents HAGI in North America and is a Research and Data Analyst at the Tuck School. Previously he worked for Fluent Inc., an aerodynamic and technical supplier to F1 teams such as Ferrari, BMW Sauber and Red Bull.
Dietrich Hatlapa is the Founder of London based HAGI, an independent investment research house and think tank with specialised expertise in the rare classic motorcar sector. The company is known for its suite of HAGI Classic Car indices. Dietrich is the author of the book “Better Than Gold, Investing in Historic Cars”, first published in 2011.
