Entombed in an Avellino, Italy garage following the 1980 Irpinia earthquake and STILL a Mercedes that has never been registered, the car remained hidden for nearly four decades, retaining its original temporary plates and documents and emerging as a true automotive time capsule with 100% documented originality.

1979 280TE presents in extraordinarily rare Nickel Green (code 870) over a beautifully preserved avocado green cloth interior.
